OF SCOTT HALES
PBL founder and President, Scott Hales, is passionate about
photography and servicing the needs of his clients. Scott is a
20 year veteran of the motion picture and still photography
industry. He has produced countless images that capture
attention, elicit a feeling, or touch an emotion.
Born in 1962 in Amarillo Texas, the son of a cattle rancher,
Scott felt as a child the hunger to record what he saw and knew
at a very early age that photography would be his means; he
bought his first camera at the age of 13 with money he earned
from summer jobs. It was that summer that Scott realized
photography would play a defining role in shaping his life.
Scott first received critical acclaim for his photographic
talents when he was awarded the Kodak medallion for photographic
excellence for three consecutive years in high school. Scott
went on to attend Amarillo College where he received an
associates degree in Photography and then transferred to The
University of Texas at Austin and received his bachelor’s degree
in radio, television and film production in 1985.
Upon graduation Scott moved to Dallas, Texas where he worked for
a medical publishing company producing training and
communication videos in Neurosurgery, Neurology and Orthopedics.
In 1989 through 2004 Scott worked for
AMS
Production Group, while at AMS he quickly mastered film and
television production and post production techniques working
with the best of the best fortune 500 companies and advertising
agencies throughout the Southwest. You have seen his efforts for
Big Feats entertainment (Wishbone & Barney,) YMCA, Reebok, Texas
Instruments, Radio Shack and Aerus/Electrolux. Scott's skills in
photography and communications are tuned to collect the best
images possible with the least amount of stress for all
concerned. |
